Glenda keeps a bird feeder on our patio filled all winter. It is mesmerizing to see the birds flock to it.
Getting close enough for a good shot is a challenge. I’ve decided that just inside the patio door is best. It means shooting through the glass patio window but the lens is right next to the window so the laws of focus minimize distortion.
Glenda can walk out on the patio now without disturbing many of the birds. Apparently they are used to her and may even recognize her as their benefactor.
